 MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
I spent some time over the weekend retooling my business model (in-between hanging out with my honey). 

I have also started coming to grips with the fact that, come June, I'll be installed as the President of the Phoenix Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)!

I'm really excited by that.  I look forward to the opportunities and challenges it might present.

All this thinking however, caused me to contemplate how I could best leverage myself, my time and my efforts.  I love my company and the freedom it provides me to pursue things I'm really passionate about.  I love NAWBO and the fabulous women entrepreneurs I get to work with there.

I have an extremely active, creative mind which constantly comes up with new ideas to pursue.  I've often been asked, "How do you get it all done!?!"  It's a good question. 

One way is by continually working on what's most important.  I also make sure I have a great team around me to help get all those ideas out of my head and out into the world.

I'm cooking up some new things I've been doing to grow my business that I think you'll find timely and helpful, especially based on the things you shared in the Business Needs survey a couple of weeks ago.

3 TIPS TO MAKE IT ALL WORK & GROW YOUR BUSINESS WITH GRACE AND EASE

If you're anything like me (which I've noticed many entrepreneurs are), you're full of ideas, projects and opportunities to pursue.  There is more to do than can be done in a day, week, month...heck, it seems, often more than can be done in even a year! 

I was talking with one of my assistants the other day about a conversation she'd had with another team member about the never-ending to-do list we live with. She asked if it bothered me to always have such a long list.

"Not at all!", I expressed.  It makes me feel quite alive.  I think it adds to the sense of purpose for my life.  Clearly, my life isn't entirely about completing projects, but being a person who values accomplishment, crossing things off my list brings me great joy!

I must admit though, that last week it did begin to feel like I didn't really have my arms wrapped around all of the compelling ideas I wanted to implement.  You see, these ideas come to me in the middle of the night, first thing in the morning in meditation, while driving and while working. 

 

Then there are all the great ideas I get exposed to in the seminars and retreats I attend.  It seems it never ends!

 

So often these ideas end up on separate pieces of paper (kept by the bed for the middle-of-the-night epiphanies) or notebooks and handouts from the meetings & seminars. To take control, this weekend, I reread my notes, lists and even listened to some valuable audio CDs I'd heard before.

 

So what process did I use to distil all that information and get focused and fired up? Three simple things I recommend you do too...

 

1. List and organize your 'intellectual capital', that expertise that sets you apart

 

2.  Decide on the specific revenue streams you want to fuel

 

3.  Identify the strategies and actions that will allow you to fulfill on your desired revenue streams

 

Then get to work!
